Let' s start from the beginning. I had to get a sweat shirt cause the temp was only up to about 55*, didn't want to freeze to death. Had to feel around to get the clips for the balck cover, almost gave up and went to get my favorite tool, 15# maul, but decided to give her another try. Success!! Backed the connector bolts out, pulled connectors and UH- OH, orange rubber gaskets that NOBODY mentioned were going to come off w/ connectors. Worry about those later, the present has enough to be concerned w/ anyway! Poked hole through insulator w/ paper clip, inserted wire, damn this is going smooth. Can't quite get gaskets to sit back on connectors, to heck w/ 'em!! If they were that important, they would've gorilla snotted 'em in place!! Speaking of which, I think that's what I'll use to replace the orange gaskets!! Got the connectors back in place, got the 1/2" impact out, found the adapters to go from 1/2" to 3/8" to 1/4" and tightened them buggers good!! IF tight is good, tighter is better!!! Cranked up the compressor to about 170psi and let her rip tater chip!! All them lectric boxes looked like they'd get hot under the hood there, so I cut and spliced enough wire to move 'em out front to get some air. SAwzall did a great job of cutting the grill bars outta the way. Couldn't find my drill, or drill bits for that matter, so I got the blue tip wrench out to open a hole in the fire wall ( figured they named it that for this very reason.) All went well, til the insulation caught fire, no problem I can put that out!! After that lil situation was taken care of, I went to splice into the brake wire, no problem, I got lots of black tape!! hooked the batts back up and fired her up, hit the switch, a few seconds delay, and viola, it worked!! Thanks to all who have gone before me in this endeavor and shared your trials and tribulations w/ us here on TDP! L8R

Hey Filo, Congrats! Too bad you had to do it in such inclimate weather. It takes one tough s.o.b. to suck it up and get'r done.

...just teasing. Hope the mod helps you out.
