Just wondering if anyone has heard of this Silverline 304 SS dual exhaust system. It looks very similar to MBRP. Could they be the same distributer? I ordered MBRP and received this, which is why I am inquiring! Are the tips on MBRP welded or clamped on? The website is ansaautomotive.com.

I don't know for sure, but they look the same to me. Probably made at the same place and sold under different names. MBRP uses clamped on tips. We like to put a tack weld on them to keep them from walking away. We also like to tack all the connections to reduce the chance of something coming loose and leaking.

dmcmerth,
At one time a long time ago MBRP made the systems for ANSA as a Silverline product, that was finsihed approx 5 months ago. The current systems are different than the MBRP ones. The ANSA line is made off shore, while the MBRP is made in Canada.
ANSA and Silverline is still using MBRP pictures but it is a different system from a different manufacturer etc.

Just want you to hear it directly from us here at MBRPinc. We no longer manufacture ANSA diesel exhaust systems. We did manufacture exhaust systems for them some time ago. These were then marketed as ANSA exhaust systems. Unless you purchased some very old stock from ANSA , you did not purchase MBRPInc quality products.
Did you ask for MBRPinc by name when you ordered?
Please let me know.
Thanks

Thankyou for all the replies.
3rd post, yes it is a duals system in 304 SS with a front pipe(cat eliminator)
Mark, Thanks for the info
MBRP,
I asked for MBRP and got this ansa. I have since studied the pictures on the website and the quality of the product I purchased and I cannot tell the difference between the two. If there would be a way to tell it who's it is, I would like to know before I install. The price I paid for it is less than I could have gotten a MBRP 304 ss single with front pipe for. The finish is as polished as chome and really I am impressed with the quality. I hope it will install as nice as it looks.
What I am not impressed with is the clamps. Too bad they are not ss as well. I am going to pick up some ss band clamps, like we use on the Kenworths, and then I will have to figure out what to use where the clamp/hangar combos are used.
Can you send me a picture of this system. If I can see it then I can tell you for sure if it is our system. Just send to info@mbrp.com Ask to have it forwarded directly to me
