Anybody have ideas, comments or sugestions about the PPE race fuel valve? Thinking about installing one. Any draw backs?
Application: 2004.5-2008 LLY / LBZ / LMM Duramax diesel engines
Features:

Will not allow any fuel back to gas tank allowing 100% of fuel to be available in extreme performance environments.
Eliminates low fuel pressure rail trouble codes such as 1093 (low fuel pressure during power regiment) and helps maintain requested fuel pressure during full throttle with even the hottest program enhancements
Simple to install

Is your truck coding or running out of fuel? I would go with the shims first if you haven't already

once in a while I will throw a low fuel pres. rail code. I thought about the shims, but it is easy to install the valve and a pain in the a$$ to install the shims. So is there any side effects for the valve?

I talked to PPE and they said not to run the RACE VALVE if you drive your truck everyday. I just orderd the shim kit. That is what they recomended to run if you drive your truck and two with it.
