My 04 had a leaking injector into the oil at approx 93k. Dealer replaced 4 injectors on the same bank. When I left Illinois for Florida this winter, it had approx 99k. On the way it started smoking (white) again . I knew I had a letter from GM stating I had a 200,000 mile warranty on the injectors, so I continued to Tampa, where I took the vehicle in with 100,738 miles. I was told the #2 injector has a high balanceing rate. They will not warranty it under the 100,000 because when I took it in it was 738 miles over, the 200,00 warranty would not cover it because of the fine print in that the injector has to be leaking.
I feel I have been given the shaft. I called GM customer service and told them my tales of woes and they offered to pay 10% of a $1,100 bill.
I have sent GM a certified letter of complaint.
Any idea's?????
