I was wondering if anybody has done a custom intercooler setup. I see guys taking off their Dodge intercoolers and replacing them with banks big hoss intercooler. Is there any way that we could use those stock dodge intercoolers? Has anybody done it? Links, photos, and write-ups are greatly appreciated. My biggest problem is, if im going to spend $1200-$1500 on an intercooler......I want a big intercooler. I can fabricate as long as I have time, welder, cutting torch and spare scrap steel:D

I think that Brooklyn Tow installed a Dodge IC when he did is Cummins swap.

If I were to do one, I would likely use this setup:

Staff edit link to non site vendor Frozen boost removed The benefits are NO LAG, and higher degree of cooling. It's a bit more complex, but seems (at least to me) to have less complexity of plumbing.

Well I plan on putting in a cummins in the future. So I am going to be wanting a big intercooler for that (thinking 03+ Dodge). I dont have the size but Im kind of brainstorming up ideas right now. I think I have seen 2 rigs on the whole web where they had the IC behind the grill with A/C. I am not a big fan of the hanging ATA so the search didn't do me much good because all those were hanging. I dont care what people say, there are just way too many things offroad that would make a hanging ATA a bad idea. Harvested Cornfields anybody with a hangning ATA??? By the way....your link was deleted. Could you PM it to me. Thank You.

Hey mods, sorry about that. I'm not aware of any of our vendors offering WTA intercoolers, so.. my bad.

A friend of mine installed a Dodge ATA Intercooler in his 82 Dually that he dropped a 6.5 into.
