Has anyone found anything for organizing things behind the back seat in a crew cab. I want to but a tool box, tow strap, etc. behind the back seat and I was hoping I could find some type of behind the seat storage organizer.

Thought the same thing......... but it's a BCensored h to get anything from back there. If needed, I just keep stuff under the seat.

I just installed the DU-HA behind the back seat of my CC. It's not big and not cheap but I've got tire chains, fire extinguisher, jumper cables, ether, rags, toilet paper and gloves in there without any problem. It's very heavy gauge plastic and can even hold 2 rifles. Comes in the right color grey to match my interior.

JP Customs has back seat storage options for both extended cabs and crew cabs: http://www.jpcustoms.com/store/customer/home.php?cat=264

That does look nice.......but what happens when you have a flat? Can you take the passenger side out or is it a 'one-piece' holder?

I am going to be selling the DU HA soon. It is a really nice product. The Crew cab storage will be behind the seat and Ext cab is under the seat. If anyone is interested PM me for an introductory price.

I am also curious if the Dee Zee from Cabela's pictured in the post above fits with the back seat leaned back. The measurements are very close based on the description. Anyone own one?

The DU HA looks an awful lot like the JP Customs unit. I would like to know if anyone has installed the Dee Zee unit. It looks perfect but the dimensions are awful close.

MaxPower,

Now you tell me. I just bought my DU-HA about 3 weeks ago.

Burner,

It's a one piece holder. But I haven't bolted mine in and it stays just fine, it's a snug fit.

What would be nice, is a behind the seat storage shelve's my 01 Dodge Ram had. Storage trays mounted to vertical rails on the rear of the cab under the window. Trays could be raised or lowered on the rails, providing more or less space between trays. They worked great.. Have been looking for some thing similar for my Silverado's since buying my 02.

Well, I went ahead and ordered the Dee Zee unit. It seems solid and even has a lockable box to store valuables or whatever. I'll post a reply when I get it to let you know if it fits. If not  , oh well!

I put a piece of folded 3/8ths carpet padding (foam covered by a plastic sheet) behind the seat back so I can put things back there either loose or in pouches. Things don't slide under the seat now and things don't rattle around.

I don't know if the above mentioned padding is sold anymore, but it is good since it doesn't break apart as the chipped foam sold today. I saved a bunch of it when new carpet was installed in our Washington house in the late 1980's.

Well the Dee Zee does not fit, at least not very well. It's about 3 inches too tall and about two inches too wide. Well maybe the DU HA unit will work, or meybe I could try and make a custom shelf out of wood and cover it with carpet.

I installed Husky Liner's new Crew Cab Cargo Liner (part number 2990) in my truck about 3 weeks ago. It covers the entire area when the rear seats are folded down and provides great protection against damage and spills (it got a lot of use in my move out of my apartment and into my SURV). As opposed to my Husky Liner mats, it doesn't have the non-slip nubs and stays in place by the form fit. When you're done with it, you can roll it up and put it in the bed box, store it in the garage, or use it somewhere else, which is what I do, until you need it again. It stays flat after about a day with weight on the corners if it's rolled up. Comes in black, gray, and tan with their diamond plate design to keep things from sliding around. They are available at a lot of online suppliers.
