New to the site and to Diesel's. Just bought a used 2006 2500HD Long Bed/Crew Cab. Man is this thing a beast. Had two 5.3L Suburbans prior to this and all I can say is what a difference!!!
Used it to pull a 14 ft. flatbed with a SidexSide/Quad/Dirtbike (about 3000-3500 pounds) on it last weekend. Felt like it wasn't even back there. Will be using it to pull the toy hauler (7000 lbs loaded) soon but I don't think it will even wince at that.
Great site here, loads of information. Will be putting some more extras on it soon. Probably going to install a Pioneer AVIC-D3 once I figure out what I'm going to do with the factory rear DVD player. Then some airbags for the rear.
