ok this is what i have and this is what i am trying todo.

2003 chevy 1500 5.3 silverado z71 extra cab
2003 chevy 2500hd dmax crew 4x4

my hd does not hace the fog lights and my 1500 does, i already swapped out the switch in the dash and it seems to light up and work fin, (bedlight/fog light combo switch)
i found the leads for the lights up under my dmax. they were taper up.
I tried to plug in some lights and turn them on, but i git nothing, I didnt not check power at the wires as of yet, i do not have my test light here.... is there a module or something ? or do i have to switch out the main headlight switch too? please advise, as i am selling my 1500 and need to get these swapped out asap..

I know on the 2002 down I had to install a harness for the fog lights, but sounds like you may already have it?

Anyway, maybe a fuse or relay that needs to be installed and the BCM programmed.
