Wanted to say hi.

I never had a truck before, but over the weekend, I purchased an '03 2500HD LS CC SB 6.6 Duramax with 50k miles for towing a fifth wheel camper.

To be honest, I was looking for an '02 or early '03 F-250 7.3 PSD, but after driving the above, fiddling with the extras inside (options not included in the XLT Fords I was considering), I was very pleased. So was my wife.

I think this is a 4 speed automatic with O.D., is this an Allison, or another style trans?

Anyway, time to start reading.

To answer your question.. Yes it's a Allison 5 speed, that's what's behind all the Duramaxs with automatics.

Add a signature with year options etc...helps us answer any questions you might have later..
