I'm real happy with my Raptors. Look in garage, polished stainless with real nice welded end caps. They hold my entire 200 lb weight climbing in the truck with no sag

I like my inovative creation steps.. they kick out for the duals and makes it easy to get up to look into the bed. Still wish I went for the AMPs though....

I hate the look of side steps or nerf bars, My sisters truck has the AMP ones so they fold up when you close the door, I like them.

I gotta say I love my 6 step Nfab's! I do wish the step on the bed stuck out a little more, I still need to hold on when I'm getting anything out of the toolbox, but it sure beats having to get up in the bed everytime I want something out of there! I like em!

I like N-Fabs--6 steps in black.

I like AMPs--no-see-um

I have Luverne's because they were on my truck when I bought it. They're stainless and look perfect after a couple tough winters and quite a bit of off-road. I'm planning to Line-X 'em in the near future since Line-X has worked so well on my bumpers and bed.

I really like my 4-step n-Fabs. I like how they fit closer to the truck.

I bought the OEM 6" oval steps after I bought my truck. I like 'em alot. They are a little expensive, $500+. You can get them at GMPartsDirect or Parts4Chevys.

I have ICI chrome wheel-2-wheel on truck. Came as part of deal on truck so don't know what they cost, but they are holding up great and I like the looks of them.
I hate the automatic folding style, have heard many complaints about functionality and durability, don't waste your $ on them. You either want/need steps or you don't, so why try to hide them when your driving?

I have a pair of Luverne Mega Steps on my truck and love them. I looked at the AMP steps, which would have been my first choice if it hadn't been for their price. Another good thing about having steps that don't retract is their ability to stop other people from denting your doors in parking lots.

Definitely check out the Mega Steps though. They look like tubes but have a wide, flat step all the way down. They actually look like they could be factory steps.

I like the Westin Wide Ovals. I searched for a while before I bought mine. They look good and are functional with a nice wide step area and also help protect against door dings.

Anyone have the Raptor Series Oval on a 2008 CC? If so are they solid tubes or cutout, what is the weight rating and how many brackets. Thanks

Amps are great! JFARR is knocking them, but has never used them.He says either you need steps or you dont, why hide them? Well the amp steps are more than just steps, they come out and down far enough that you can stand on them comfortably instead of most steps that are just that.... only a step. I like them because i have two boys in car seats and it is nice to stand on the amps and buckle them in. My old truck had chrome bars, and they were a pain in the A$$ to stand on.. Just my opinion.

AMP is the only way to go. Best feature most don't know about is that if they sence any resistance going up or down they will stop the movement. You won't be sorry, well worth the money.

Everyone has an opinion, sounds like many like the AMP retractables. Just one more think to break or short out IMO.

With the Amp steps, do they make them that go wheel to wheel like the Nfab's? I would think about switching if I could stand on them and get into my toolbox on the back? Didn't know if they made them that long or not? If so, anyone want some Black Wheel to wheel Nfab's??? I love my Nfab's, but I should have just ponied up the $ in the first place and got the Amp's. It was hard to swallow an extra 1000 when I was already getting the truck and all the other stuff on it at once.

I have Mega Steps from Luverne. They look like nerf bar from the side and have full length tread to step on. Easy to install and look great.

I really like them cause they give the truck the look of being up a little bit more, without the full bar hanging down like regular Nerfs.
