It's simply the RPO code for that particular option.

Other RPO codes that are familiar.....

Z71
VYU
ZR1
Z28

etc.

That's just what GM assigned to the option that described what was added or represented in the build sheet at the factory.

I think that just about everything except the chassis and the sheet metal have an RPO code assigned to them.

Anyone know what this one means? You're a sucker for Twin Turbos aren't you? We should nick name you 'Ultra Show' after the B2K ):h

Callaway Twin Turbo Vette :ro)

IIRC they were only available from 87 or 88 to 91. I think it was dropped on the 92 models when the LT1 became standard.

Sledgehammer was a one off and is still in Old Lyme CT IIRC or it is at the NCRS Museum.

The latter B2K TT Vette's were 492 HP and 870TQ (might be off on that...CRS i guess;) )

But, Sledgehammer did have Paul's Bodywork!:ro) What a sweetheart.
Anesi's Turbo vette could not come close.

And then there is the ultra rare Zora Arkus-Duntov (SP) 'Puff the magic dragon' 1978 Single turbo 350 vette, TH350 trans on a 350 motor utilizing a draw thru induction via a Rochester 2 or 3 barrel carb... i forget.

production 15 Chassis, IIRC only 9 Vin's are still active
