Ok i have a 2007 classis ( before new emmisions) and my check engine light came on, took it to the dealer- they cleared it- Happened again :mad: took it back to the stealer and they downleaded an new update.
And then, 60 miles later the engine light came on.

i have an appointment for the dealer tomorrow (3rd time) to look further
Anyone have any info i can relay to the dealr to get this fixed?? i have hear it is something with the EGR motor??

Sounds like a new EGR is needed.

yes if the update has been done then you need an egr motor. no big deal happens all the time.

I needed to have mine replaced (20K miles). This should be quick and simple under warrantee.

well took it to the dealer and after a beer and a burger( not at the dealer but the tavern a block up) it was found the EGR was indeed the issue. they are ordering a part from Izusu so it should be fixed withint the week

Just picked my truck up yesterday, it poped a 403 after I picked it up from getting trans lines replaced. They tried (10) different updates, then ordered new egr motor. Couple hrs and all is good. Only 22000 on the truck.
