Can any of you twin charged guys get a snapshot of your psi gauge at high psi numbers?

Can any of you other modified guys get a snap shot of your psi gauge at peak boost???

I know some numbers are pretty high, but i'd like to see it on a gauge or monitoring system.

TIA!

still a newb around here!:)

edit- should I post this in the LB7 forum as well? or would they have similiar numbers?

I do believe, it's just that i've never seen numbers so high.

I'm comming from a Toyota Solara that is supercharged at 5.5lbs (recently
De-supercharged.) I've seen other cars hit 18lbs of psi, but never anything higher.

You might not think of it much when you drive your truck, but to me it's a whole new ballgame.

you don't need pictures.. these duramax's make 5 lbs of boost going 10mph starting around 1400 rpm's. a supercharger you have to increase rpm's to get boost because its belt driven, but a turbo you do not. to date, mine has only hit 26 on my digital gauge and others have seen higher. my supercharged car only makes 12psi.

I have pegged a 30 psi gauge running stacked a couple of times....don't know what it was exactly...prolly around 32-35 psi.... I think Nate...a supporting vendor has seen 35 as well.

On the LLY in gear at a 1000 rpm we have over 4# of boost.

I guess some of the modified pulling trucks running over 100 psi and diesel tractors are closer to 200 psi.

I know when I get on the throttle real hard (juice/***) I will peak at 30 or 29.6 psi. I'll see if I can get a shot today.

Mole,

There's nothing quite like throwing a 7500 lb Duramax/Allison powered Crew Cab Long Bed 4x4 around the corners on Little Tujunga road, between Osborne and Sand Canyon. :D

Put it in tow haul mode and the downshifts into the corner are awesome! Which makes the acceleration out of the corner even better.

Walking away from a BMW...... while you see in your rear view that he is in full lock on the steering and is suffering from understeer.....is a rip!

Trip... time for 'Cool Duals' and more fuel...... would be interesting to make a 'turbo bypass' think of the cloud then..... mind you, EGT's might be a tad.... extreme
