I've been looking at getting a Cognioto 4-6 from Nor-Cal Nick. I am probably gonna run 35s on 18s for the summer. I would like to run the stock PYOs in the winter and my question is this: What would be the right tire size to run on the stock rims? I could probably go with 285s but would they look too small? Can I go bigger with that lift and rim combo? Has anybody done this? Pics?
Thanks in advance

check out anyones garage or use the search button, there a numerous posts on this subject. 285's will fit oem wheels, you can even go to 305's if you choose.

I know the tires will fit on the rims, I was wondering more about how it would look with the lift and if anyone has run stock rims on a 4-6 and what tires.
I already did a search and was unable to find what i was looking for.
Thanks again.
I have the 4-6 kit with 35x12.50 Toyo MT's on 18x10 Driv Blitz wheels with 4.5" backspacing.
If you are going to run stockers in the winter i would get some 315/70/16's for the tires at least.

That tire size will look a lot better for sure, but will I run into clearance problems with that wheel tire combo and the cognito spindles etc?

That i am not sure of, youd have to ask NorCal Nick. But as far as putting 35's on that lift goes, do it. All these guys worrying about it and running 33's on that setup is rediculous... 35's will fit all day long even on a x10 wheel with 4.5 backspacing. I have NEVER rubbed at all and have NO trimming.

I was thinking of getting a 18x9 wheel with 5 1/4 BS, it also comes in a 4.5 BS. I was gonna go with the 5 1/4 in hopes of doing less trimming... EDIT: I see you have no trimming.... what is your lift set at for height?

Not sure exactly, i have green keys with very little crank on them.
Id say 4.5-5"?
