All the manufactures of gauge post say you can get paint to match your interior. I have been unable to find any off-the-shelf can that is even close. Talked with GM dealer, they said they can't order any interior touchup paint. My 1995 has the tan, beige, sand (whatever you want to call it) interior. Any ideas appreciated.

Go to a local auto body supply shop, or maybe a body shop would sell you some. It is out there.

Yep, go to the local auto body paint supplier or go to a local diesel shop that installs gauges. They will have it or know where to get it.

I have business in the autobody industry and we use a vinyl repair shop. (car comes in with dash damage from an accident, these guys will fix it and dye it to match.) Look in your local yellow pages for "auto vinyl repair".

www.pj1.com (http://www.pj1.com/) Click on VHT.

They make a line of paint specifically for painting gauge pods.

Take your ashtray to a auto body paint supply store. They will probably be able to match it. They matched mine.

I bought vinyl paint from Advance Auto that matched up pretty good.

Home Depot slate grey spray paint matches '97 GMC/Chevy grey interior perfectly. Don't forget to prime with vinyl primer.
