Hi there

I need some help.
I am looking for a tonneau cover the will work WITh a gooseneck
hitch/trailer attached to the truck.
I probably will need to "customize" the cover it self (something velcro?).

The problem I am having is that I need to find a cover were the metal bars are not in the cover but will stay in the bed.
When I need to hook op the trailer, I would like to roll up the cover, pop out the metal brace and then close it up again. (with the gooseneck going through the custom opening).

Which cover out there can I use for this or does somebody has a better solution.

All this is to cover my 2nd fuel tank in the bed ( I heard those are illegal when hooked up to the engine??)

Any suugestions, remarks are welcome!!

if youre gonna do that, do it right. i would go to a custom marine shop and tell them what you want. the do stuff like that all the time for boats so its no big deal. they could make you a nice black (or whatever color you wanted) canvas cover that had either velcro or snaps to function like you want. it will only cost you a couple hundred bucks and will look and work much better than you could do on your own. i dont like those vinyls covers anyway, they look real cheap.

Where are you from? Guys around where I live in Ohio have the Amish custom make them for their trucks.
