Just wondering if this is normal? I know on the old 6.2's they used to run the plugs for a short time after start up in cold weather.

I i can hear a solenoid or relay click at the same time and it bogs down the motor slightly.

Just curious if this is the norm.

Mine does it too, pretty sure its normal.

Same with mine. Initial long wait followed by 6 shorter episodes.

Its a post start cycle that keeps the glow pluggs pulsing with heat to help complete combustion when cold.
