Got my attitude mount, new overhead console because of crappy sunroof, blah blah. Anyway, I have it all together and ready to install. When I split the case on my attitude and put it back together in the Trippin Mount (Quality Product BTW), my attitude buttons and screen is now loose. The screws are tight and everything is solid. It is not too bad, just irritating when you mash the buttons and watch it giggle. Is that normal. I don't want to tighten anymore for fear of stripping the screws. Thoughts??

No, that's not right.

There are 4 screws that hold the two halves of the case together. The circuit board and buttons are secured to the front of the case with different screws. Make sure those are tight.

My Evolution must be a one off then, cuz the same 4 screws that hold the halves together also holds the circuit board in place. No other screws. Is that because it is the Evolution maybe??????

It may be that the Evolution is slightly different. I'll check into it.

Guy, I have the same issue with my overhead mount, and my edge evolution.

I said oh, this seems kind cheesy:shake:. So scratch my head for a little while.

In came a the idea of using small, thin nylon washers on the backside of the board to fill the gap.:idea:

It seemed to correct the situation.:bigglasse

But it's a real pit when you have to reverse this sequence when updating unit.

I Was hoping you would come a in a dated solution, was I may incorporate into my vehicle.:rolleyes:

Any word on this Trip??? It is not a really big deal. I can work to find some spacers or sell the damn Evo and get the Juice with Attitude.

I hate it when they re-design their product without checking with me first. :D

Does the circuit board have any holes in it that line up with anything other than the 4 corners?

I haven't been able to come up with a picture of the Evo circuit board.
