Whats up all. I just put in my Alpine indash flip out dvd player/monitor. Works and looks great. Problem When in park the damn gear selector is right in the way, I can move it down to drive to open it then back to park and its cool. But it cant be in park while its opening, kinda a hassle. So does someone make a shorter one WITH a tow haul button? I dont want to loose that or rewire that either.

While I have the truck in neutral, and the monitor is retracting, the EGT's go down to under 400 -- it's better for the truck and I'm forced to do it!!! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

LOL, well hopefully someone knows of a shorter one. Its not that big of a deal but would be nice to fix it.

There is a fix for this. Go to a local stereo shop and they should know who to order a replacement gear selector from. BlueOx should know who makes the replacement selectors. Might want to PM him. Some shops where bending the existing one until a company started making a replacement selector.
