Hey Guys,

I am looking to buy a new 2005 Sierra SLT Crew Cab 4WD LB DRW with the following options.

PDN - power package (diesel and allison etc)
DPF - power heated camping mirrors
Z82 - Heavy duty trailering equipment
UY2 - Trailer wiring provision
V10 - Grille covers
SAF - spare tire lock

Looking at a few dealerships and wondering what others paid for this setup. Just looking to get a good deal and have everyone feel satisfied with the deal. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

HI MICHAEL 156!! First Things First, WELCOME TO THE SITE & MAY YOU GET aLL YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED QUICKLY & CORRECTLY!! Go down about 2 articles & read the facts by "BAC" on how to determine dealer cost. there are a couple of avenues available to you. #1. Check with Matt Surplus in Utah. He sells for $200 over invoice & seems to have allocations. #2,. Is to get with me or someone else 7 use a G.M. Supplier Discount Authorization #. This will be a great way to get a great deal on a truck. The dealer MUST ACCEPT A discount # & we hate to give up a # as we only get to use 2 per month. Howard_m18 :cool2:

MSRP was 48,938 and invoice is 42,831. I think he was including all the rebates incentives etc. But I would like to try and use those for me.

so your 42,822.48 is the price you received and then you got to use all the incentives to bring the truck almost to 40,000 even ?

Mike,

Work with Howard on maximizing how much money you can save. Howard is a retired GM employee and works very hard to make sure we all get taken care of.

Unless you're a GM employee, the GMS program is the way to go.

The GMS price is non-negotable and it is set based upon the cost price to build the vehicle by GM. In this case a truck. The dealer makes money by the hold-back charge.

If you're going to buy new then order the truck the way you want, the price is the same regardless.

The answer to your question is, "I think you can do better".

Michael156, well I don't know what the incentives will be yet, the 05 GMC D/A Crew Cab SLT Short Box isn't in yet. Ordered the truck on Jan 10th evening and have my TPW as Feb 21. Don't know if I will get it in late Feb or early March?

I worked with Howard and I got the GMS pricing through a Dealership in Payson AZ, and got a ZERO percent 60 month loan, I'm very pleased with the deal on my new Duramax.

Cheers, Stephen
