What leveling "kit" did you buy?

Did it come with new longer shocks? OR Did it come with new taller shock mounts using stock shocks?

I have heard this to be true for everyone that has used Cognito....I have the 4-6" Cognito and no complaints here. I just noticed that I did not put any of my new pics in my garage but rather only a thread so I guess I know what I will be doing later today.:D

I hear everyone saying to get longer shocks with the leveling kit. What size do you need and how do you tell what length I have now and how long do I need now. I have a 2008 dmax 2500hd CC. I put on the truxx 3” front 1” rear kit. I have 295/70/17 toyo open mt. they rub just a little. When I had the kit installed I asked to have it turned up so the tires would not rub. They jacked it way up when I hit a bump I thought the truck was bottoming out that’s how hard it hit. I dropped the bars down and the hard hitting went a way, but the truck wasn’t level. So I played with it some and found the best spot. The problem I have now is then I hit a bump that drops out or going over raised train tracks. It feels like the shocks are bottoming out. They did put in the shock extenders in with the kit. Any ideas????

If you are hitting metal to metal on the UCA and frame stop then your shock is not too short. But replacing your shock with a good aftermarket one will help the ride because you can get a slower valved shock to slow the travel down so it doesn't hit so fast. But if you are cranked up that high and don't like the ride then you should look at the Cognito UCA leveling kit. Read this it should help:

We have all these parts and more to help your ride get better.

Here is my truck and stats on what I did. Ride is GREAT. I welcome and offer a ride to anyone that would like to see how nice these truck rides.
