I want to find an A/T tire in load range E. I need a 285/75/16. I also want it to look good. No grampa tires.

GoodYear Wrangler Silent Armor LT285/75-16 is available in Load Range E

BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO LT285/75-16 also comes in Load Range E

Both are A/T tires.

I have toyo M/T's and they dont seem to be lasting long. At the rate they are wearing they will only last about 25-30k.

I have them and they are very quiet on the road. They also go pretty decent in the mud too, much to my suprise. Also seem to be wearing great, their at about 15k and still have 3/4 tread or more.

Cooper Discoverer ATR's. Low road noise, and good traction in snow and mud.

Nittos are also awesome in snow. I have also had BFG at's and the nittos are far better in the mud and snow. The nittos in a 285/16 seem to not crown up as much in the middle on a stock pyo than the bfg also.

I love my Revos. I have had them on 2 different trucks and they are great in all kinds of weather. I tow with them too and they do a great job. Although I have not ran them myself, from what I have read, my second choice would be the Silent Armors.

You can get the BFG's in either D or E. Go to the Manufacterers web site and look at the actual weight ratings of the tires. Some tires are D rated but carry the same weight as E rated tires.

If you can get a D rated for the weight you need you will also not sacrifice the empty ride quality. JMO

Hankook RT10s can be had in an E-rating at that size. I have no complaints. IMO, no noise.

We put 50,000 on a set of 10ply E rated Revos and they could have gone another 5,000, very nice tires

What is a "grampa" tire? A ribbed highway tire?
