Does anyone else seem to have the same problem that I am having? On my 2001 crew cab duramax with the edge version 4.61 I keep having the engine to temporarily stall, knock rather loudly, and then go back to normal after I let off of the accelerator. This only occurs when I have my windshield wipers turned on. It might then go quite a while or it might happen again right away if I turn the wipers back on. I have never had any problems with the truck even with the wipers on if i remove the juice. I purchased another juice module thinking that perhaps it was a glitche in the module but i still have the same problem. It sounds like the edge is causing interference with the windshield wiper circuit board or something. It is relatively annoying though as one time when it cut out on me I was on the interstate fixing to pass someone and I had an instant loss of power. You either have to drive in the rain with no wipers or get out and uninstall the module in rainy weather or you can count on it stalling. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Do a search, many people have run into it.

As McRat mentions above, this problem has been document numerous times. The wiper motor is a little noisy electrically. The Juice apparently has no internal circuitry to deal with this noise and is therefore susceptible to the interference. Some have fixed the problem by installing a different wiper motor (seems 2001 - early 2002 trucks were more problematic). I would call Edge and work with them.

Wiper control module, not motor, will fix. I speak from experience. Searching can find you all the details you need.

Although Edge may not immediately volunteer the information, they know what the problem, and the solution is.

Until I figured this out two and a half years ago, Rain-X was my good friend; didn't want to be Juiceless!

I know that a local CT Dmaxer had the exact same issue with his early 2002......

He finally resolved it with EDGE.........
