I'm Riley, 22, going to school at BYU-Idaho in Automotive Engineering, and have a 99 GMC Yukon. It's not a diesel:( but I plan to tow my 81 K5 Jimmy project with it. I was told that the tech threads here have tons of info on how to tow best.
Heh, maybe when the 350 in the Yuke dies, (long, long time from now) I'll put one of them 4.5L mini-max's that GM is producing in there.

Welcome to DP!! I've had quite a few (5 to be exact!) Yukon/Tahoe's! In my opinion they are the best all around vehicle made. They pull, they haul people, they're comfortable, halfway decent on gas...perfect trucks. I have yet to be in a new one, but I like the looks of them. Maybe we'll get lucky and see that 4.5 in the 'hoe and yuckin. Again, welcome!!
