I had an 01' Reg Cab Diesel 2wd that I have had for a few months. Guess Ill be selling that now.

Just picked up a 08' Reg Cab 2wd Duramax SLE-1 package. :)

Im pretty excited about it. Having the moldings and emblems removed as I type this and Ill be adding some painted to match mirror caps and door handles on sat.

Then, A drop kit, rims, some exhaust and intake action and a tune. :)

Maybe even a cooling mist kit.

Good luck with it. Be aware of a possible warranty cancellation for power tune upgrades.

After an intake, a T-back exhaust, and a proper tuner, you will probably not miss the H2O/Meth. I was planning on adding that too. I would definitely be looking at a tranny if I did that. It is so fast on just a +70 tune, I don't see a need to run the +90 or +110 tune.

Good job on even mentioning dropping it! Get that center of gravity down!

Ill post some pics after its clean. (tomm morning)

Painted mirror caps and door handles will be on by tomm. :)

Im trying to decide on how far to lower it. I see you went 7.5/9. Was there anything special needed to do that pa32rt?

Well, we started with a DJM 6/8 kit. The new ones are sooooo tall from the beginning, that it wasn't low enough to the top of the tires. So, we put in some keys and got it down another 1.5" in front and added a 1" block to the back. Hence, 7.5/9.

Im assuming you notched the frame. I dont want to have to do that so ill stick to the 3/5 drop.

Yup. Notched. My last dually was flipped also. Never had troubles.

Im not worried about troubles, just hate the cutting/welding stuff. LOL

The other problem is my concern with how limited Ill be as far as tire size goes when I lower it.

i was looking at 325 50 22's for the rear and 295's for the front
