Hey all:
The song is called "Silverado Longbed" and it's by Amber Dotson (visit her My Space site if you want to hear a few of her songs, she's really good). The lyrics of the song paint a picture of the valve arrangement of the motor. The lyrics goes "...two-cam overhead...".
Now I know that no Chevy truck comes with a overhead cam gas motor. And that this must be a DMAX with a 4-valve arrangement she's singing about.
My question is:
Does the DMAX have its cam in the block or is it an overhead cam arrangement?
If it's an overhead cam, is it a twin cam design or single?
The later Cummins motors have a 2-cam head design but she's singing about a Chevy.
