The glow plug should have been covered under the 100,000 mile motor warranty from GM I think. I think the extended warranties with most aftermarket companies and even from the original manufacturer all look the same. If you have a problem, they won't pay for diagnosis unless a part is found to be broken. They won't deal with improvements covered under TSBs that come up later either. Went through the same with my Jeep, but it wasn't as bad a deal since I didn't pay for it, it was a peace offering from Diamler after some problems with my vehicle. It's all covered in the writing in the service contract. Most people don't take the time to read them thoroughly before paying for them.
