I have a slide-in truck camper that when mounted in the truck, the cab over bunk blocks the XM Satellite antenna. Is there a portable or another antenna that could be installed?
Any ideas would be appreciated!

Someone has done this before. I think it is doable. I'll see if I can dig up the post.

Regardless of what XM says, their antennas are very touchy. In my 4Runner, it's sitting on the dash (by the A-pillar in the corner, out of sight...almost) and I get reception 99.9% of the time I'm driving. When I was an Installer at Tweeter, customers would occasionally complain about the reception when the antenna is mounted outside on the vehicle. My Ski-Fi setup at work is the worst... I can aim the antenna at the pure blue sky and get nothing... move it to the middle of the room and boom- full reception.
Try setting it on the dash and drive around a bit. It might cut out under some overpasses but, if you're driving fast enough, it may not.
