I gots me 2 of dem PMD's that have acted up in the past. They ain't dead yet but they do fail from time to time. Does that mean they are totally toast or can I relocate them NOW and have them still function?
Also is there post with pics or descriptions of all the ground locations? I'm pretty sure that one of my trucks has a ground issue, OR it has developed artificial intelligence and is trying to communicate with me via Morse code with the dash indicator lights.:Whoa: Looks cool though!

Try to retorque the nuts on the transistors, slightly.
Have them relocated outside engine bay and you may have chance to get them working for a while, but you don't know when they'll fail :tomorrow or in 2 years, or last truck life...

x2, I wish we can see on a crystal ball if the PMD is still good after being fried inside the engine compartment. If it is outside, you may still have a chance to restart after a stall since it can cool down fairly quickly but inside the engine, it will get hotter after a stall.

Put butter on it.
I wouldn't bother. Most from what I have read can be heat damaged before they act up let alone one that's giving symptoms. Mine is on the pump and works fine and I bought a relocate kit but am rethinking even bothering. I might just start fresh.
