Today I saw an 08 GMC 1500 series truck with a grill that looks just like the grill on my LMM, except it was chrome. Has anyone seen this before or know where I can look for one? It looked really nice, wish I had a camera to take a picture.

Get what? And the dually package has nothing to do with grill or door handles. They are all the same for HDs, 2500s or 3500s alike.

I took the black section out (it's a two-piece grille) and painted the black to match the body.

I figured the stock one is so wide-open that it provides the most cooling possible for the intercooler and radiator. Some of the billet ones seem so restrictive. I figured I would try this and if I don't like it, I am only out the paint. Can always change it.

EDIT: The zip-ties are only on there to hold the two pieces together while the epoxy dried.

I don't see anything factory. Looks to be aftermarket or nothing.

Our local PPG vendor. It is PPG DBU basecoat with PPG StratoClear on top. A little BullDog mixed in to each and also sprayed on between primer and base.

How is your painted lower piece holding up PA? Any chipping yet? Id love to do mine along with my mirrors and vent caps but worried about chipping. No quality "custom" paint shops here :(

So far, one tiny rock chip. It's gonna happen. No way around it. I would rather deal with that than the black, though.

This is what I ordered today. I ought to be home this weekend or first of the week. Mabey...just mabey it be there.:D
