straight out of the special bulletin regarding injector replacement:
"This special coverage covers the condition described above for a period of 7 years or 200,000
miles (320,000 km), whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in
service, regardless of ownership. The repairs will be made at no charge to the customer."

"Warranty Start Date: 08/27/2001"
and
"Build Date: 07/19/2001"
it would make sense that the 08.27 date would be the date it was placed in service. but then auto-makers don't often make sense.
