trucks back at the dealer agian. had it in last friday-monday said it was the #2 wiring harness. driving down the road this past friday and it starts running like crap agian wouldn'e rev over 2000. Let the truck set for an hour and it ran just fine. but engine light was still on. so i took the truck back to the dealer on saturday and they didn't sound to optomistic that i would get it back the same day, which i didn't. They have already replaced the #7 harness about 6 months ago and before that about 2 years ago they replaced some other wiring harness but i cant remember what they called it. anyways i was just wondering if anybody else has had this many issues with the injector wiring.

YES, just search injector harness and you will get 10,000 hits! Lots of problems and the easy fix is poke the connector with a ice pick-- which raises a dimple inside the terminal and that makes better connection on the injector terminals. Even the "New" harness from GM will sometimes lose connection. Carry an ice pick! There is a DIY explaining the "fix".

Ok Got the truck back yesterday after they said they could find nothing wrong with it. Apparently when i took it in it was running ok after i let it reset its self but the engine light was still on. once the guy in the service bay took all the info i guess they let it sit for a few more hours before the tech got to it and the engine light went off so there were no codes and im guessing that if they cant hook thier computer up to it to see what is going on then they don't have a clue. Well anyways going thru downtown today the truck started doing it agian but this time it would let me rev up to like 3000 RPM's but it would kick the sh** out of me when it would shift but i drove the truck all the way to the dealer ship and pulled it to the service bay and left it running so that there would be no chance for the thing to reset its self. About an hour later the dealer called and said it is the Fuel injector control module but they have to overnight one in b/c they dont have one in stock. Hopefully i will get my truck back tomorrow and it will run just fine. considering i only have about 1500 more miles left on the warranty.

Either way, when you get it back, ice pick #2 and #7 injector harness. You will be glad you did.
