I have a 02 Duramax (auto) I just purchased the Banks 6-Gun w/ Speedloader from a member on the forums about 4 months ago. I have a question about it.. When im in Level 3 I can definitly feel a little more torque then level 1. When I put it to 4-6 it felt like there was no power gain at all almost feels like the truck is slower.... I have an egt gauge and the egts were fine im curious on why there is no power gain from going from level 3 to 6..

Also it feels like the truck doesnt start moving until top of 2nd gear.

The truck is all stock besides gauges and the Banks 6-Gun with speedloader.

Any help would be appreciated.

The reason that the banks feels like it doesn't kick in until 2nd gear is because it limits the power in 1st and doesn't give it full power until 2nd. Do you have version 1 or 2 of the banks SG? I would think that if your egts are staying in check that the banks must be sensing transmission slip and backing the power down in the higher levels?

Also make sure the main computer unit is "seeing" the speed loader. If not you might not get the power increases. Maybe give Banks tech line a shout.

Mine works fine through all 6 levels.

Also there is lights on the banks SG box and it should be green. if you get flashing lights than there is something wrong and you can look in the manual for the trouble codes.

when you turn the ignition switch to on, green led should flash twice if it sees the speedloader, other than that check your switch make sure your tab is in the right slot the other thread concerned the LLY not the LB7 the LB7 has been working good they seem to have some issues with the new LLY six gun

edit: Also i noticed no matter what level I was on it was still boosting 20-21psi which is stock..
