I had the Edge EZ for about 2 years with no problems and loved it. Over the last few months I began to notice that the truck would hesitate a little when starting. I attributed this to early morning cold temps or battery running down since the truck is seldom used. However, few days ago the truck would not start at all. It kept cranking but would not start. I was ready to call Chevy roadside assistance so I took out the Edge to avoid any bs at the dealer :D Once I had it out, I decided to give it one more try. Truck started without any hesitation.

Anyone had similar issues? I tried searching but couldn't find anything similar. Will Edge do anything about this? I'd love to put it back in the truck but I'm not going to spend another few hundred bucks for 2 years of use. Any suggestions?

I had a problem with Edge on a cummins where the truck would not shut down.

i have a buddy with an lb7 he has had 3 ez's to do him this way edge sent him another free of charge everytime. i don,t know if i could be that patient. i never had a problem with mine i still have it just grew out of it.

As long as I get another unit I'll be fine. At least I know what the problem is. I would have been pissed if I had that truck towed to the dealer and that was the problem.

Same thing on my buddies dmax..edge w/attitude..will work sometimes, the next time it wont start. unhook it and put it back to stock and it works...must be something edge has problems with.sent it in once and they reflashed it, but said it may need an update to work right..
