Hello any help I have a 1997 G3500 Cube Van With 198K I t all started a week ago i had the truck sitting for 2 years she started every time. Rain snow sleat hail and so on.Then one day i decided to use it to make a deilivery. Drove 70+ miles no problems except the waste gate circute voltage being to low / Code. Stoped wile i was unloading let it idle for 15 minutes then shut it down. A hour later tried to start her and she started ,but the idle was up and down . no pedel control a ton of smoke. So this went on for a hour or so repetingly starting it up and shutting it down without moving her. Hoping that she would correct herself. After messein around for so long had to get her towed. Got to the yard and did not even want to start went threw the check list thats been floatin around here. Fuse / Relay are good FSD Works with the proper voltage . Checked the optical sensor geting the proper juice relaced the lift pump and the oil sender just to throw some money at the problem . Cause im stumped geting fuel to the Injection pump but not out to the injectors. Injection pumps dont go out like at a drop of a hat do hey? Also repalced the Pmd with a known working one and checked the grounds and wires to the whole top half of the motor. I also did`nt run hot wile driving her. The only codes i get is the wastegate voltage code. No other to be found. Help im STUMPED.The pmd is also mounted in a remote location not on the pump:mad:
Glow Plugs are good less then a year old tested them along with every other sensor Pmd lift pump so on ETC. Mabey i just need someone else to tell me the injector pump is shot. I hope it is`nt but all signs are pointing in that dirrection.:eek:
