Hi Guys,

I need some information in regard to the Attitude Cable. I have installed my Attitude with the very cool:ro) Trippin Mount. I need to go to the dealer on Fri, but I dont want to pull the whole thing out, and it is hard wired to the back of the Attitude. Can I cut the cable, and splice in a connector that will allow easy removal without having to pull the whole cable, and not destroy the Attitude?

That would be a great upgrade from EDGE! I too have a trippin mount, but am waiting to install it until the next visit to the dealer is done! A cover for the tripping mount would also be a plus, if we could put that over the top when going to the dealer.

My suggestion is:

1) Wrap the Attitude monitor in something soft (like the bubble wrap I shipped the mount in) and stuff it in the headliner above the console. There is plenty of room there.

2) Remove the Trippin mount and re-install the plastic top to the overhead console.

3) Unplug the Edge box from the main wiring harness under the hood. Re-route the Attitude cable or disguise it.

4) The whole process can be done in 15-20 min, based on my experience.
