285s look better but do require a little "fitting".

I'm running 265's on 16x8 Eagles and had to do minor trimming. 285's do fill the wheel well a bit more, but you definately sacrifice stability with the taller sidewall.

285's.

I currently own two sets, 1 on my 06 dmax and 1 on my 98 dodge 2500. GREAT tires!

285s. You may have to turn a couple of bolts and trim, but you will like the final product better.

You had to trim w/ 265's on 16x8's? Is your backspacing or offset drastically different that where stock wheel/tire would center up? I have 265's BFG T/A KO's on 16x8 Ultra's and have no issues at all. No t-bar cranking either

I have the same on mine, 16x8's with the 265's and had to do some trimming.

Go with the 285's. That's what I have and I don't have any stability issues. I regularly tow my tt near 10k with a max. of 11k. I did have to trim my front valance and pull back the e-brake cable and fender liners. Also, I did not crank the bars. Have you looked at
4wheelparts? When I bought mine last year I paid $131 before taxes and did not buy the extra road hazard.

I went with Load Range E for mine. Greater load carrying capacity.

Mine are on STOCK 3500 SRW wheels. They bolted right up and required NO trimming or changes to the t-bars. :)

with the higher E load range tires do also git more miles out of them since there harder?
