Drove my 07.5 for a couple of days(not on purpose) on dry roads (maybe 40 mi. total) with some hard accelerations and thought it seemed underpowered, The third morning I caught the 4x4 light & changed it back to 2 wheel. Seems to have its spunk back. Will driving it during this period have hurt anything in the drivetrain. Everything seems good on it now, but was looking for the long term effect. Like to see Chevy put a 4x4 idiot light in the dash display. The 4x4 switch is out of my eyesight. Blocked by the steering wheel. Thanks for your inputs.

You're fine if you just left it in 4-hi.

Didn't hurt a think.

I'm pretty sure the '01-'02 dash cluster has a 4x4 idiot light, but GM didn't hook it up...??? I'm pretty sure there is a post on how to get it to work. As for the 07.5 having an idiot light, I'm pretty sure you're out of luck.
