I have a pillar pod in hand to install. Maybe someone who has installed one can answer a few questions. I have a three gague pod.
1. Does the pillar trim need to be cut to make it fit correctly?
2. What is the best routing for the probe wiring?
3. How did you attach it?
Thanks Much
Dan:)

Response
1. I just installed the dual pillar pod yesterday from Heath. I had to trim the bottom close to the dash slightly. I also had to trim the speaker cover slightly. Other wise fit like a glove.
2.The wiring I cut small holes thru the original pillar trim and ran the wires down. I then ran the wires down the side of the dash and out the firewall. I duct taped some of the wiring to the inside of the pillar pad before installing back into place. I found the wires difficult otherwise to keep in place while installing.
3. My kit came with small plastic inserts to push in after small holes are drilled thru both pieces. It looks good after it is done.

My autometer pod with speaker cutout fit perfectly.
Remove stock pod line up new pod over stock. Drill correct size hole through both pods in each corner for push in fasteners. Route lines down pod behind dash through firewall. Leave enough slack in everything to pull gauges for bulb changes.
