Ive had edge juice in my truck for about a year.Lately I will be driving along 60mph and the truck dies.pull over and it wont refire unless I unhook the edge.I made sure the harness was dry,but still the same problem.Any one have ideas on whats going on here?

edge has a really good cust service man i would just give them a call and send it in they fixed mine free of charge.

do a search of edge.... 2 years ago alot of truck would just randomly shut down... one guy and his family almost got killed by it.. he was towing 5ver going down a grade with family and it died...:eek:

The same thing happened to mine and they just sent me a new unit. I've had the new one on since Friday so we'll see how it goes this time around.

I just took my EZ off on Saturday because it shutdown twice on me. I need to call them. I miss it already.

my truck only shuts down when its raining and the edge is plugged in. when unplugged the truck runs fine....slow and no fun.

so far, ive never had a trailer connected when its raining. once it did it when i was on the brakes, but when the power assist isnt there, brakes dont work as easy

Call Edge...they are aware of this problem, and have a campaign trying to fix this problem.

It seems like this has been an ongoing problem ever since they came out with the edge for the dmax.

My box does the same thing, ive never sent it in, its been sitting for 2 years.

edge sux mine did that as well as 100 other thing but send it back in and they will fix it and send it back with a diffrent probablem or you could just get a ppe programer

Mine quit while on a grade towing a fiver, last year about this time, I sent it to Edge, they wanted $350 to send me a new one with a 1 yr warranty. They would not send a refurb or fix mine without paying......... I had them send it back, I sold the Attitude monitor with free broken Edge on Ebay. Bought the Outlook Monitor, a BullyDog TripleDog and never looked back. I miss some of the functions of the Edge but not the trouble I had with two of them. (fixed free once for heat problem.)

the prob is simple. They need to send you the unit without timing adjustments. The reason when it rains then dies is b/c the windshield wipers appartantly cause some frequency probs. They will send you a new unit w/o timing adj and it should be perfectly fine. They did mine a long time ago and its runs great and no shut-downs. The only downside is that you will lose about 15-20 hp per level. SUCKS BUT after a few weeks you wont even notice..

Hmmm, I find that odd that mine doesn't have any problems. Maybe I'm just one of the few with a problem free juice box.
