Has anyone installed a product called Predator Power by Dr. Performance? I looked at their website www.predatorpower.com (http://www.predatorpower.com) and was impressed with their claims but wondered if anyone was currently using one and what kind of power did it delivered. This is the one that hooks up under the dash in a matter of minutes, not the one that programs the ECM.

My opinion is that it looks like overpriced junk. Dr Performance doesn't have a very good reputation. I'm not 100% sure but I think it raises fuel pressure.

Not sure if we are talking about the same thing here, but I tried the plug in predator module that goes under the "hood". Not sure if this is the same product, but it's the only one I saw for a duramax. Supposed to make 60 rwhp or something. I have a six speed and it had really bad power spikes when I used it, which I found out later (and kinda suspected before) was due to the fact that auto's have more cushioning in them, so you don't feel the jumps when under hard acceleration. I personally didn't think the product gave that much of a noticable power increase, and my milage was terrible. I ran it for about a week and then sent it pack. I was also told later that it's just a pressure box. Hope this helps.

I downloaded a clip off the Dr. Performance site and was not impressed at all.I am a die hard Edge man but was looking it up for a friend. It plugs into your fuel rail and DOES increase fuel pressure. NOT A GOOD THING AT ALL. I called them up today just to B.S. with them and was not impressed with them at all-:t They also wanted almost $600 for their pile of junk.:badidea: You can buy the Edge Juice for about the same price and with the Attitude for about $800 which is a night and day difference from the Preditor. Edge does not raise rail pressure at all. In fact, it monitors your whole powertrain for any type of stain befoe damage occurs. Just keep in mind you should still use your head with the higher power levels.:ro)

Have been told that instead of modules and programers to replace the spring on the turbo wastegate is more noticable than all of the rest. ( banks has them)

I bought that module at the snowmobile expo last year in West Yellowstone. They gave me 90 days to try it out and if I didn't like it I could send it back, made it two weeks and I sent it back. It did increase fuel mileage but when driving into a strong head wind or pulling a trailer the truck was starving for fuel and would cut out. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed.

I had one... Its a pressure box just go's inline with the Fuel pressure sensor.. not very easy to install unless you have small hands. It did add a little power but it created a lot of surging at high speeds and when towing... After about a month I sold it. The surging drove me crazy it was at my normal cruzing speed 80-85 mph :D
