I have been away from the forums for a long time. I have a 04.5 LLY with a 4" MBRP, AFE Stage II and an early release Edge J/A. Everything is ok except the off the line performance. I am interested in adding the Predator not as a big power stack but just to see if I can get the low end up a bit. I would likely run the Edge on 0 - mainly just want to keep the guages, tranny protection etc. I would be running the Predator on 85 I assume since I usually run my J/A on 3 or 4. Have others done this. How does it compare with just the Juice. My off the line performance is horrible. The J/A for the LLY is a good "highway" chip and has decent EGTs for towing but I would like some more off the line. Also how is the EGT on the Predator for towing etc? Thanks

I had the Juice on with a Predator loaded, and it killed the performance of the Predator. It felt like the Juice just overrode the Predator tuning.

I've been running with Pred on 85 and J/A on 2. Doesn't feel much different than Pred 85 and J/A on 0. I think I'll drop the Pred to 65. On 85 the throttle is a little twichy. Every bump I hit driving around slow I blip the throttle.

With the J/A on level 0 you wont have any tranny protection. The Juice tranny protection only pulls down what the Juice has added, not fuel added by other power adders.

I was unable to get that stack to increase effective HP over the Predator alone. Your results may vary.

Thats odd, cause mine feels much better off the line with Pred at 65 and Juice at 3. When I put edge at 0 i can def feel less power, but still more than stock by a good margine. Guess I need to test more.

It might make more HP stacked, but for me it didn't show it at the track. I didn't dyno them together. But running the Edge with the Predator on 100 didn't make the truck quicker in the 1/4 mi. I tested level 3 and 5, and gave it up. Dunno why, but the Edge stopped the Predator from launching hard, and it gave up alot on the shifts.

I run my Predator on 65 and the Edge on Level 4 and I think it does a good job. I do turn it back to 1 when towing.
