Put a set in last weekend (both high and low beams). Last night on my way home from work, got the finger from a little Geo Metro in front of me. Guess they work pretty good! :ro)

Put mine a few weeks ago; followed my wife home over the weekend from her mother's and she did not like them behind her either; said she was glad that 99.99% of the time she is in the passenger seat; said she likes being able to see better with them (she asked to have them put in her Monte Carlo) but would not like them coming at her all the time. Oh well? But they do work!

Got mine at Wal Mart; less than $20 per pair if I recall.

I priced them out yesterday myself at Wal Mart at just under $28 a pair around $10 less than the Silverstars. I had the Silverstars and they lasted me just around 2 years and did make a big difference, however they didn't seem to last very long respectively.

I'm running the stockers once again until I decide whether or not I wish to try the Nighthawks.

Anyone recall the correct number on the nighthawks?

They are in black and pink packaging (I think that's correct); labeled GE Nighthawks and the numbers should be 9005NH and 9006NH.

How do they compare to Silverstars for 'whiteness'?

About the same. The Silverstars may be a little more "White", but they throw as much (if not more) light than the Silverstars. One thing I noticed with Silverstars (but not the Nighthawks) is their light washed out in rain. The GE's cut through rain better than the Silverstars IMO.

I've been running Nighthawks for a few months now...I really like them and they've already out lasted two sets of silverstars...

Hmmmm, have not noticed that.

BUT what I have noticed is when it is snowing out the "Bright White Light" from the Silverstars really makes the snow look bright!

How often are you guys getting flashed by passing going the other direction? I just get it every now and then, when I hit the brights to let them know it just my low beams, I often get told I'm #1 so they must like them:confuzeld

I'm running with diodes to the fogs so they are on all the time so I dont know if I'm getting flashed because of them or the Silverstars?

I would agree with this statement. I also get told quite a bit that I am #1 but I'm driving a D/A, so I know I am #1; I think alot of this is that we are higher than these little cars so they are getting the line of light right in their eyes. I am also running the diodes for the low beams to have the fogs on all the time and they get ALL the lights when we go to high beams. ):h
