Just put in my order today for an '05 2500HD Duramax/Allison CrewCab LT Shortbed, with the sunroof.

5 to 6 weeks and I should have it. Anybody want to buy a really nice '94 2 door Yukon with a 6" Rancho sitting on 35x12.50x15s??

Yeah, it's kinda cheezy because it slides up and over, rather than flush with the roof, but oh well.

How much did it run you to have the bed Rhino lined?

Welcome...

5-6 week wait huh? That will give you plenty of time to pick out gauges, order pipes, get your programmer all figured out!

Welcome to this warm warped family. You're going to really enjoy you new D/A. 6 Wk delivery will give you plenty of time to read current and past topics on the Forum and convince you to leave your new baby 100 per cent stock.

Here ya go - A lot of people are doing after market, also o I know a lot of dealers that have them installed aftermarket and sell them as factory.

I hope your 6 weeks is really that. The dealer told me 6 weeks and it was nearly 3 1/2 months.

Thanks guys,
I've been reading a lot of the threads and whatnot already. It was a really tough decision between an LB7 and LLY.

I hope that 6 weeks is pretty accurate. The D/A trucks are not real hot around here right now. I stopped by the local dealer today (not the one I bought the truck from) and there were about 6-8 of them on the lot, if that's any indication...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/grd.gif

I'm not in a real big rush ~yet~. I still need to sell my other truck!

Some dealers I think tell a customer that the demand is so high for the D/A in order to get you to spend MSRP or close to it. Pure BS. See some dealers packed up with the things and begging anyone to place a down-payment.

Thanks for the offer man! I actually work at Caterpillar, so I got a pretty good supplier discount myself. All said and done, I paid about $10K under MSRP.

I can't wait to get it!

Sorry to hear that (that you work at Cat)! :joke: My dad was a millwright in East Peoria. He recently retired from there after 42 years.

Hey what do they pay for Millwrights at CAT? I'd love to get out of my current job and into a bigger better place.

Not sure about the millwrights, but they pay the engineers pretty good... http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/naughty.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/hihi.gif
