How about prices of these things, and also if they are worth the money and trouble?

Prices will run you above $1000 for a set of nozzles in my experience. Plus at least 5 hours of time (if you're Eric) to get them out and in the truck. Depending on who you go with and what their procedures are you may have to send them yours and let them rework them (w/o truck for a week or two) or some may let you swap yours for some they have already reworked from another truck that they have sitting on the shelf ready to go.

As far as being worth it, you have to judge for yourself. In my experience I actually lost #2 hp just a bit with the injectors. With the bigger programs it's just too much fuel. However, nitrous works well at cleaning it up and you will see a very big hp gain with them.

Nozzle improvement only can be done pretty reasonably IF the nozzles to be done are customer owned. What troubles me is that I don't want to end up taking in a bad set of cores. While it's true that the noxzzles themselves have been pretty trouble free, it's just not worth passing around used nozzles, especially when guys try to mechanically scrub the carbo and can wreck them or cross up the pins.

The big cost is in running the injector on the test machine to verify all is well.

I think that many take them too far, and that less is better some times unless going to all out racing applications as Chad mentioned above.

A Dmax with 50-60 HP injectors alone runs VERY nice, and if they were easy to change, I'd recommend them more...

They ARE easy to change in the LLY!

Getting there. Core and new units are much fewer and farther between for the LLY. Installation is still not as simple as a Cummins though.

Have to finish other irons first too...
