i am currently pulling a detriot diesel out of a 82 ford 900 and installing a cat 3208 im almost done but i can always use good information and helpful hints

find a wrecked ford truck that would of had a 3208 installed for brackets, pulleys and such. If you need the Cat serial number ran let me know.

i have looked for parts in scrap yards and i found a bunch of stuff. good thing i am almost done i think.i should be able to fire and drive it the day after tommrow. ill let you know how it goes

well i fired the new engine and it ran perfectly.now i have to start the long process of wiring and get the air compressor on the bed started. my boss bought this trunk from a bone yard in arizona. he tried to drive it back and blew the head gaskets in nevada somewhere. some back woods repair shop did a hack job on it he traveled another 3-400 miles and blew the engine that was the begining of this whole adventure. i pulled the engine 10 months ago and it sat untill about 3 weeks ago with no engine. so after 20 years its finally going to run good
