On my right hand tank, when I switch to it, it doesn't register and stays at past full and rests there even on half a tank. It does this sometimes, and sometimes it works. My driver's side tank registers. Can I correct this? Where is the sender for the fuel tanks?

the senders are inside the tanks. they are part of the pickup tube assembly that drops in the tank from the top

the sender is in the tank but if it is way over full that would indicate an open wire going to the pass tank it is a 1 wire system it is a bad ground comming off the tank or the wire from your switching solenoid to the tank is open
