I hope someone here can help me. I've just encountered a strange problem recently. This has actually happened a total of 5 times. I will be driving down the road at around 65mph and all of the sudden the engine will stall and then come right back on. There is no spit, sputter, chug, or belch of smoke. I thought after the 5th time, it may be the fuel filter or a bad tank of fuel. There is no engine light on either. I went ahead and changed the filter. It gets changed every 7000 miles. It happened again yesterday after the new filter had been changed. This time it stalled and did not come back on. I had to stop and put it park and crank on it for a while. It acted like it wasn't getting any fuel. This time the engine light came on too! I will be making an appointment tomorrow, but decided to see what you all had to say first!

If it is any count, it does have the Edge/Attitude on it. It had been on there for around 6 months and I've had no problem. I thought that I should be able to eliminate the idea of it causing the problem.

Let me know.

Thanks Guys.

What Eric said. Mine did the same at idle now and then. Edge replaced the unit and no issues since. But do without the edge box for a while and see what happens. (Life without the edge is like mornings without coffee.)

Thanks for the help and the suggestions. I wanted to update everyone on what the problem ended up being. It ended up being the crankshaft sensor. I am just glad that it wasn't the edge after all.

Thanks for the suggestions.
