Took off yesterday under moderate throttle with my superchip tuner on tow/perf, on the shift into 4th? the engine defueled. The truck stayed in 4th, wouldn't shift, wouldn't go into reverse either.

I read the codes with me superchip programer and reset them and set the tune to stock. Works fine again.

What happened?

Sounds like you slipped it pretty good or you have done some damage in the past and this default is just a result of that. Turn the power off and see what happens.

I reset the dtc codes, flashed it back to stock. It's been fine all week so hopefully I'm ok.. I was running a superchips tuner in perf/tow.

I got 0700 and 0735 yesterday. Had the Xcelerator on 200hp tune. I reset the codes and tuned it to 130hp tune.

Mine didn't shift into 5th it just slipped right out till I hit 45 then it shifted in 3rd or 4th and didn't shift at all untill I cleared the codes.
Wish I lived closer to Mike L. or Eric at Merchant.

Got a bit of the same but different story, wondering if we could get an opinion.

My brother has an 06 LBZ with an EFILive tow tune in it. Thursday while getting onto the freeway in the am his truck did the funky chicken while shifting, I read the codes they were the P0700 and P0777. He said he wasn't flogging the truck or anything, just a normal acceleration onto the freeway when this happened.

After letting the truck sit (and I cleared the codes) the truck seemed to behave normally on a quick trip around the block. However during his drive home my brother noted that when he was driving about 45mph downhill the truck seemed to be "chattering" almost like a bad clutch on a hand shaker. If he got into the throttle the "chattering" went away, only happened when maintaining speed or coasting.

A few weeks ago he was hauling a unimog and apparently had to go wot to merge onto the freeway or risk being rear-ended, but other than that he's not really flogged the truck with the tune in it. He said the tranny behaved outstanding while pulling the unimog, but as that's the most recent thing he's done figured I'd include it.

EFILive scantool indicates these are a request to illuminate the MIL and a solenoid being stuck. With the info I've provided anyone venture to guess, is this a real limp where he needs to begin thinking about a rebuild or is it possible this is just a stuck solenoid (which if it is we'd repair that how, dump fluid check valve body for debris and reassemble?).

Thanks for any input.
