Just wondering if anyone has used either of these or heard anything (the good and the bad)... if you do have 'em... What do you think?

Looking at their page again, I see the hoses are for '01 - '04, so that is not LLY, but I am still curious.

My dad has one installed on his Dmax and boy it sure makes the turbo sing.

TByrne has one, am thinking about one myself.

My dealer installs them. I would also be interested in what peoples experiences have been. I wouldn't mind a little more turbo singing, but am mainly looking at intakes and exhausts to lower EGTs.

I've got a Volant intake on my truck. I swapped out my K&N intake. The Volant is a higher quality piece and the turbo whistle is more apparent. Get one, you'll like it.

Well my rig is the LB7 but I have had the VOLANT in for some time now. Like the stock look but is bigger. Also, like most have said, love the turbo sound.

Is the Volant better than the AFE for the LLY? Any gains with the Volant Intake?

I'm not familiar with AFE. Volant claims 12hp on the Duramax.
